WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (June 21, 2018) – Gunster, one of Florida’s oldest and largest full-service business law firms, today announced that attorney Aaron J. Horowitz has been named as the inaugural young lawyer member of the year by the Florida Bar Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Section. Horowitz is a litigator and chairs Gunster’s dispute resolution practice.

Horowitz receives inaugural award from the Florida BarThe award recognizes an attorney who has demonstrated “leadership and dedication to the Florida Bar, the ADR section, or the section’s mission through executive council or committee service, volunteerism, significant professional contributions or the creative exchange of ideas.”

Horowitz concentrates his practice in the areas of business litigation, estate and trust litigation, intellectual property litigation, real property litigation and employment litigation. In addition to his litigation practice, Horowitz also serves as a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator, Appellate Mediator and Qualified Arbitrator.

He serves on the Executive Council that oversees the Florida Bar’s 1,100-member Alternative Dispute Resolution Section, where he chairs the Business, Real Property and Employment Disputes Committee. He also serves on the board of directors of the Broward County Bar Association, where he chairs the Business Law Section.
