Gunster Shareholder Bill Dillon recently spoke with WCTV and WPTV News regarding the implications of the HCA South Florida data breach.
HCA is the latest healthcare corporation to be a victim of identity theft, with cyber thieves stealing patients' names, addresses, emails, phone numbers, birth dates, and when and where they last saw a provider. Addressing why patients have not yet been told, Dillon notes that it is "a huge undertaking with this much data ... it's not something [HCA] can find out in a week."
Bill Dillon is the former managing shareholder of the firm’s Tallahassee office and is Board Certified by the Florida Bar as a specialist in the area of Health Care law.
