WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – November 11, 2019 - Gunster, one of Florida’s oldest and largest full-service business law firms, is expanding its business litigation practice with the addition of shareholder Brad Johnson. He is based out of the firm’s Jacksonville office and brings more than 30 years of litigation experience to the firm.

Johnson’s business litigation expertise includes a focus in labor and employment law, having represented businesses and employers in a wide range of matters including breach-of-contract, employment discrimination, non-competition agreements and insurance bad faith defense. He has tried cases in courtrooms throughout the country including Florida, Alabama, Connecticut, Oklahoma, Nebraska and Texas.

“Brad has exceptional trial and litigation experience that will serve as a great value to our clients because of his deep understanding of what a judge and jury look for in a business and employment case,” said Bill Perry, managing shareholder of Gunster. “Our business litigation practice grows stronger with Brad’s vast skill set and expansive knowledge of the courtroom.”

As an alumnus of The Bolles School, an award-winning college preparatory school in his hometown of Jacksonville, Johnson served as the Interim head of school from 2013-2015 and on the board of trustees from 2007-2013. He currently holds an AV preeminent rating by Martindale-Hubbell, Inc.

Johnson earned his J.D. at the University of Florida Levin College of Law and a B.A. from Duke University.
