WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (Oct. 18, 2017) – Gunster, one of Florida’s oldest and largest full-service business law firms, is pleased to announce that Frederick Owens has been appointed to serve as vice president of the Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists South Florida chapter.
ACEDS is a professional education, training and networking association for those who work in the public and private sector of e-discovery. Owens will serve through 2019 as vice president of the association’s South Florida chapter which includes Miami, Broward and Palm Beach counties.
Owens is an electronic discovery and litigation support coordinator who works with Gunster’s attorneys and professional staff in the areas of electronic discovery and litigation support. A member of ACEDS since 2015, and a member of Duke Law – EDRM, he received a Kroll On-Track E-Discovery Certification in 2000. Owens received his J.D. at the Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University.
