Gunster Labor and Employment Attorney Meredith Plummer was recently quoted in Sun-Sentinel and Orlando Sentinel articles discussing the "Stop Woke Act" passed by the Florida Legislature earlier this month.
This Act, which is soon to be signed into law by Governor Ron DeSantis, restricts how programs aimed at promoting diversity in the workplace can be presented to employees.
"Employers are going to have to be very careful when they are discussing those topics," Plummer advises.
