The Daily Business Review recently interviewed managing partners and firm executives at statewide and national law firms about their outlook and expectation heading into 2019. The various interviews revealed that most firms are bullish amid speculation of an economic recession, but are planning ahead for demand drops in certain practice areas.
Bill Perry, CEO and managing shareholder of Gunster, was selected for his input from the perspective of Florida firms. In the article, he explains why Florida has remained an attractive place for investors and other newcomers, how transportation upgrades have boosted development, and how Miami in particular has attracted capital from all over the world.
In addition to managing the day-to-day operations of the firm, Perry continues to practice real estate and business law, specializing in complex commercial and financial transactions. He is actively involved in a number of statewide and local organizations that are focused on making Florida the best it can be. These organizations include the Florida Chamber Foundation, Leadership Florida, and the Economic Council of Palm Beach County, to name a few.
