This past November, Gunster Shareholder Mike Freed led Freed to Run 5.0, marking the fifth year of six marathons in six days benefitting the Jacksonville Area Legal Aid (JALA). Funds raised enable JALA to permanently support civil legal aid to Northeast Florida pediatric patients and their families through the Northeast Florida Medical Legal Partnership.
Attorney at Law Magazine recently published an article and video highlighting the impact Freed to Run has had since its inception. “At this point, we have raised $1.9 million through Freed to Run. By the end of this year, we will have reached $2.25 million, enough to continuously fund this program,” Freed notes.
