Miami, Fla. – June 24, 2019 - Gunster, one of Florida’s oldest and largest full-service business law firms, is pleased to announce the addition of shareholders Lou Nostro and Jennifer Jones, and associate Alex Nostro in the private wealth services practice. Lou and Alex join the firm’s Miami office and Jennifer joins the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office.

Lou Nostro has 37 years of experience in estate planning, efficient tax reduction strategies and sophisticated charitable planning. He is a Florida Bar board certified specialist in taxation and will, trusts and estates and is also a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estates Council (ACTEC). As an active member of the community, Lou serves on the boards of directors for Miami Lighthouse for the Blind, Camillus House, and the Florida Tax Institute. Lou holds a J.D. and LL.M. in taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he serves as a Trustee.
Jennifer Jones’ expertise ranges from representing clients in estate planning with a focus on minimizing estate tax to assisting in the structure of charitable gift agreements and forming and operating private foundations. She currently serves on the advisory boards of Little Kids Rock Florida and Zoo Miami, on the professional advisors council of Broward Community Foundation and on the planned giving leadership committee of the Perez Art Museum of Miami. Jones earned a J.D. from Florida International University College of Law and a LL.M. in estate planning from the University of Miami School of Law.
Alex Nostro assists clients through a variety of estate planning techniques, including complex trusts, trust modifications and tax planning. He is currently a member of the estate planning council of Greater Miami and the Real Property, Probate & Trust Law section of The Florida Bar. Alex has a J.D. from American University Washington College of Law and a LL.M. in estate planning from the University of Miami School of Law.
