WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (Oct. 22, 2018) – Gunster, one of Florida’s oldest and largest full-service business law firms, is pleased to announce that Jounice Nealy-Brown has joined the business litigation practice as an associate in the firm’s Tampa office.
Prior to her legal career, Nealy-Brown worked as a newspaper journalist, sales and marketing executive, and strategic corporate communications director at the Tampa Bay Times. Upon graduation from law school, she served as a federal judicial law clerk for the Honorable Anthony E. Porcelli and the Honorable Mary S. Scriven, both with the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, Tampa Division.

Nealy-Brown is a member of the Fred G. Minnis, Sr. Bar Association and the George Edgecomb Bar Association, as well as serving on the board of directors for Suncoast Credit Union. She earned her J.D. from Stetson University College of Law, her M.B.A. from the University of Miami, and her B.A. from Howard University. While at Stetson, Nealy-Brown received the “Walter Mann Award” which is presented to the student with the greatest promise of leadership in the legal profession.
She joins the firm amidst a wave of growth in the Tampa region with the recent recruitment of nine attorneys from Burr & Forman and another attorney from Hill Ward Henderson.
