Gunster, one of Florida’s oldest and largest full-service business law firms, is pleased to announce that Lauren Vickroy Purdy has been named Office Managing Shareholder of the Jacksonville office.
Purdy is a trial and appellate lawyer who focuses her practice on business litigation and professional liability defense in state and federal courts across Florida. She moves into her new role as Office Managing Shareholder after having served as vice-chair of Gunster’s Business Litigation practice. She will continue to co-chair the firm’s Appellate practice and serve as one of the firm’s Loss Prevention partners where she assists Gunster’s general counsel with internal loss prevention issues. Purdy joined Gunster more than a decade ago after completing clerkships in the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the Northern District of Florida.
Outside the practice of law, Purdy is active in the community, having supported the JaxSports Council and Gator Bowl in various capacities, and serving as a member of the Women’s Giving Alliance and Leadership Florida.

Purdy earned her B.A. from Ouachita Baptist University and her J.D. from Florida State University.
