In a recent Mid-Market Report article, Gunster attorney David Atkinson contributed to part one of a two-part series on the role of law firm general counsels, and how midsize law firms approach it. Atkinson was one of five attorneys tapped for comment nationwide and provides insight into his role as Gunster's co-general counsel.

Atkinson is a shareholder with the firm and was appointed as co-general counsel in 2017. Atkinson also chairs the professional liability and malpractice defense law practice. He represents clients in a wide variety of business disputes in both state and federal courts and in arbitration.
