WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (Dec. 8, 2014) – Gunster, one of Florida’s oldest and largest full-service business law firms, is pleased to announce Brian M. Seymour has become a member of the board of trustees for the Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA). Seymour will also serve as chair of the JFNA Emergency Committee. Seymour has served on the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County’s board of directors for 10 years.
JFNA, which is among the top 10 charities in North America, represents more than 150 Jewish Federations across more than 300 communities, including Palm Beach County. The organization embraces Jewish values by providing more than $3 billion yearly for social welfare, social services and educational needs around the world.
Seymour will chair the Emergency Committee, which is responsible for organizing JFNA’s international emergency crisis response and relief initiatives assisting people suffering from disasters worldwide.
Seymour has been a leader and advocate for Jewish causes and community issues over the years. He has served as vice chairperson and campaign chairperson for the Business and Professions Division of the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County, as well as the JFNA National Young Leadership Cabinet. He currently serves on the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County, the Economic Council of Palm Beach County and as vice chair of the Florida Elections Commission. Seymour earned his law degree at Fordham University.
