Gunster is pleased to announce that attorney Nalani Gordon has been named to Lawyers of Color's Annual Hot List, which recognizes early- to mid-career attorneys excelling in the legal profession.
Lawyers of Color (LOC) is a nonprofit devoted to promoting diversity in the legal profession and advancing democracy and equality in marginalized communities.
For its Annual Hot List, LOC honorees were chosen through a two-pronged process. The selection committee, composed of the editorial staff, fellows and advisers, spent months reviewing nominations and researching legal publications in order to identify promising candidates. Nominations were accepted from mentors, peers and colleagues, and editorial picks were made based on those attorneys who had noteworthy accomplishments, giving special attention to candidates who were active in diversity pipeline initiatives.
Nalani Gordon focuses her practice on litigation matters ranging from discrimination lawsuits to disputes over non-competition and non-solicitation agreements. She provides strategic advice to employers to ensure that they are aware of and take steps to comply with complex state and federal laws, policies and regulations.
As a member of the firm’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee, Nalani is passionate about doing her part to create an inclusive workplace that promotes and values diversity. She is also an active member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association’s Committee for Diversity and Inclusion and the F. Malcolm Cunningham, Sr. Bar Association
