The Jacksonville Business Journal recently published a list of the 50 attorneys in Jacksonville, Florida who have completed the most pro bono hours in 2015. Gunster shareholder Mike Freed ranked as number 35 on the list, contributing more than 250 hours in 2015.
Freed is board certified in business litigation and works in the firm's business litigation, corporate, and banking and financial services practices, among others. He is a frequent speaker for continuing legal education presentations on various substantive legal topics and professional ethics. Among other causes, he is active in speaking out through various forums against child exploitation and human trafficking.
He has appeared on national and local television and radio programs including “The Today Show,” “20/20,” “Good Morning America” and National Public Radio. Freed earned his J. D. at Georgetown University Law Center and his B.A. from Jacksonville University.
