WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (Nov. 17, 2016) – Gunster, one of Florida’s oldest and largest full-service business law firms, is pleased to announce that Preethi Sekharan has been honored as the recipient of the 2016 professionalism award by the Martin County Bar Association.
The MCBA professionalism award is given to an attorney who demonstrates exemplary ethical conduct, character and integrity, respect for the legal system and all of its participants, a commitment to maintaining the highest levels of professional competence, courtesy and civility, and a dedication to serving clients, the community and the public good.

Sekharan is a shareholder in Gunster’s Stuart and West Palm Beach offices. Sekharan’s practice focuses on intellectual property and trade secret disputes. She is also involved in complex business litigation and the resolution of corporate and shareholder disputes, including those involving contract and restrictive covenant issues. In addition, Sekharan has handled a wide variety of fiduciary- and trust-related litigation.
