Gunster attorney Joe Chase was recently profiled by the Palm Beach Opera. In the profile, Joe discussed how much he and his wife Alex value this important local institution and enjoy the West Palm Beach lifestyle.
According to the profile, Joe was first introduced to opera when, as a recent college graduate working for a management consulting firm, he borrowed some CDs from a boss. Alex, a classically trained musician, grew up listening to opera. Both Joe and Alex value the world-class talent that the Palm Beach Opera brings to the Palm Beaches.
According to Joe, life in West Palm Beach brings all of the perks of living in a much larger city, including access to high-caliber professional opportunities and cultural assets. At the same time, Joe and Alex are also grateful that West Palm Beach is a close-knit community, and often has a small town feel. Joe has worked to contribute to his community, and has taken a leadership role in several key local organizations. Among other things, Joe is the chair-elect of the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches, and will be sworn in as the chamber's chair in November 2016.
The couple is expecting their first child, a son, in March, around the time Adriane Auf Naxos will be performed at the Palm Beach Opera, but they are still planning to be at the Kravis Center to experience Strauss's comedic classic.
Joe is a member of Gunster’s corporate practice group and focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions and other business law matters.
