WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (May 17, 2017) – Gunster, one of Florida’s oldest and largest full-service business law firms, is pleased to announce that shareholder Frank Pohl received the city of Winter Park’s 1st Quarter 2017 Business Recognition award.

The city of Winter Park's business recognition program honors those businesses that have contributed to the economic well-being of the city and demonstrate a commitment to the vitality of Winter Park's business climate.

In early May, city officials toured Gunster's Winter Park offices, which opened in 2015.

The business recognition award was presented by the mayor of Winter Park at a city commission meeting on May 8. Mayor Steve Leary (at left in photo) spoke about Pohl’s dedication and longevity of commitment to the city, the providing of exceptional client service, and the recognition of bringing significant business growth to the city.

With more than 180 attorneys located throughout the state of Florida, Gunster can serve clients anywhere they live and work in the Sunshine State.

Prior to joining Gunster, Pohl founded, managed and grew his own law firm, Pohl & Short, into a firm with 17 attorneys and 70 employees over the course of 25 years.

Pohl has lived and worked in Winter Park since 1979.
