Gunster CEO & Managing Shareholder Bill Perry was recently quoted in the Daily Business Review's DBR Review 100, a review of the largest 100 law firms in Florida by in-state head count.
The review notes that the majority of the top 100 firms finished the year with fewer lawyers due to a migration of talent. Gunster, however, grew its headcount by 11 percent. Perry attributes this to the firm's focus on retention through its strong culture, and a strategic statewide practice expansion.
"We decided 16 or 17 years ago to stay in Florida and try to make ourselves the best law firm in Florida,” stated Perry. “Looking back now, that’s been a good bet over the past 15 years.”
H. William (Bill) Perry is CEO and managing shareholder of Gunster. In addition to managing the day-to-day operations of the firm, Bill continues to practice real estate and business law, specializing in complex commercial and financial transactions.
As a practicing lawyer, Bill has worked on many large residential and commercial real estate projects throughout Florida. Specifically, Bill has worked on a variety of infrastructure projects that have helped shape South Florida, including power plants, airports and large residential communities.
