Reuters, Bloomberg Law and M&A Critique published articles mentioning Gunster‘s recently announced expansion into the Naples market. Effective January 1, 2023, Gunster will be merging with Grant Fridkin Pearson, a Naples law firm with 27 years of practice in southwest Florida.
The articles explain that this merger comes on the heels of Gunster's recent merger in Tampa with the 22-lawyer firm formerly known as Barnett Kirkwood Koche Long & Foster. Gunster will now have a footprint in 12 cities across the state of Florida, or in every major market.
"Both firms share a civic commitment to our state which ensures alignment not only from a client-service perspective, but from a cultural perspective, as well," stated Bill Perry, Gunster’s CEO and managing shareholder.
"We determined that Gunster has a sound vision for embracing the future as Florida grows and the delivery of legal services evolves," added Richard Grant, one of the founding members of Grant Fridkin Pearson.
