Recently Law360 and the Daily Business Review highlighted Gunster as the latest law firm to expand its Private Wealth Services practice, with the addition of shareholder Brian Cheslack, associate Cayley Erickson and paralegal Nancy Seitter.

A former Gunster associate, Cheslack’s return to Gunster is the latest in a series of laterals tied to the wealth migration trend that is occurring in Florida. Gunster's managing shareholder Bill Perry notes, "We’ve received increasing interest from lawyers in the Northeast, and in California, who want to transplant to Florida and are interested in joining our firm. We’ve seen that sporadically in the past. This year, that’s happening with greater frequency as people perceive Florida as a better place to live and lawyers’ clients are moving away from them.”
