Gunster, one of Florida’s oldest and largest full-service business law firms, is pleased to announce that Naples shareholder Jeffrey D. Fridkin has achieved board re-certification in Business Litigation from The Florida Bar.
The highest level of evaluation by The Florida Bar of the competency and experience of attorneys, this certification creates the distinction of having “special knowledge, skills, and proficiency in business litigation, as well as character, ethics, and a reputation for professionalism in the practice of law.” Of note, Fridkin has now earned this certification continually for three decades. He was previously re-certified as a board certified specialist in Civil Trial, and has achieved that certification continually for three decades as well.
Fridkin joined Gunster in 2023 as part of a merger in which 12 attorneys and 15 professional staff members of the Naples-based Grant Fridkin Pearson law firm joined the firm. Having practiced civil trial law in Southwest Florida since 1985, Fridkin has handled complex litigation cases through trial and on appeal in both state and federal courts throughout Florida. His practice includes the representation of major contractors and subcontractors in contract disputes, construction defects and lien enforcement disputes, and he has handled a multitude of business disputes between owners, including shareholder derivative and business dissolution cases.
