Press Release

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (November 21, 2019) - Gunster, one of Florida’s oldest and largest full-service business law firms, is pleased to announce shareholder Linda Conahan received the Corporate Council Leadership Award given by the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance.

The award was presented at the Alliance Annual Dinner last month. It recognizes an individual who has gone above and beyond in their work in the community helping to grow jobs and strengthen the economy.

Conahan is a trailblazer in the legal industry, a pioneer for women in the courtroom and an engaged business leader for Broward County. Her commitment and leadership, both in the workplace and community, are unparalleled.

Conahan has earned a variety of honors and recognitions over the course of her career. She was recognized as one of “100 Outstanding Women” of Broward County and she has the distinction of being an inaugural member of the Bar Register of AV Rated Preeminent Women Lawyers. Less than 5% of women lawyers have been recognized with an AV Preeminent rating.

Gunster enjoys a long history of involvement with the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance. Shareholders Jonathan Osborne, Heidi Davis-Knapik, George S. LeMieux and attorneys Debbie Madden and Freddie Brackin are also active with the organization, which is a longtime pillar of the Broward County business community.
