In a recent Jacksonville Daily Record article, Gunster shareholder Mike Freed was featured for closing in on his $2.25 million goal for his annual charity marathon, Freed to Run. The article states this charity is the Jacksonville Area Legal Aid's largest fundraiser.
This will be the fifth year that Mike will be leading multiple teams in running six marathons over the course of six days. The relay, scheduled for November 15-20, 2021, will begin at the State Supreme Court in Tallahassee and end at the Duval County Courthouse in Jacksonville.
Jacksonville Area Legal Aid CEO Jim Kowalski said, "Looking back, it's just incredible the momentum that has built since Mike Freed took the first step in a journey of 157 miles in 2017."
