WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (Sept. 6, 2018) – Gunster, one of Florida’s oldest and largest full-service business law firms, is pleased to announce that private wealth services attorney Debra L. Boje has assumed her role as chair of the Florida Bar Real Property, Probate & Trust Law Section (RPPTL).

The RPPTL section provides a forum for discussion on legal issues in the areas of real property, probate, wills/estates and trust law. It is the Florida Bar’s largest section with over 10,000 members.

Gunster attorney Deb Boje“I look forward to continuing to uphold the prestigious reputation of the RPPTL section and cultivating the future of our practice – not only for the attorneys that practice this area of law, but the citizens of Florida that benefit from it,” said Boje regarding her role as chair.

During her year of service as chair, Boje will oversee the strategic planning of the section that will determine the goals for the next five years and how it will adapt to industry changes such as the role of technology and communication via digital media. She will also oversee the section’s quarterly meetings throughout the year – including an international meeting in Italy.

Boje focuses her practice in the areas of estate planning, probate, taxation and family business succession planning in Gunster's Tampa office. In her role as chair, Boje is supported by many Gunster attorneys who serve in some capacity within the section. Including John Moran who serves on the Executive Council and as chair of the Probate Law & Procedure Committee, Nick Curley who serves as chair of the Guardianship and Advance Directives Committee, as well as William T. Hennessey who will serve as chair of the section in 2020.
