(July 24, 2017) – Gunster, one of Florida’s oldest and largest full-service business law firms, is pleased to announce that Jacksonville Managing Shareholder Bill Adams is among a select maiden group of e-discovery professionals to pass the rigorous e-discovery specialist certification examination.

Gunster Jacksonville Office Managing Shareholder Bill AdamsAdams is a co-founder and managing shareholder of Gunster’s Jacksonville office, and additionally leads the firm’s e-discovery practice. Discovery is one of the most expensive and intrusive aspects of litigation. As a result, Adams and the e-discovery team use the latest tools and techniques to strive to minimize the negative impacts of discovery, and maximize the effectiveness of the client’s legal spend.

The certified e-discovery specialist credential is earned by individuals who pass a four-hour examination that provides a tough and objective measure of mastery of the challenging field of e-discovery. The certification program is administered by the Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists (ACEDS), the premier membership organization of professionals in the field worldwide.

Adams serves on the Justice for Girls Leadership Council of the Delores Barr Weaver Policy Center and was recently appointed chair of the Practicing with Professionalism section of the Jacksonville Bar Association.
