WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (Aug. 6, 2018) – Gunster, one of Florida’s oldest and largest full-service business law firms, is pleased to announce that government affairs consultant Ronald A. Brisé has been selected to serve as co-chair for the Florida chapter of the Federal Communications Bar Association (FCBA).

The FCBA is a volunteer organization of attorneys, engineers, consultants, economists, government officials and law students involved in the study, development, interpretation and practice of communications and information technology law and policy. Although the majority of FCBA members practice in the metropolitan Washington, D.C. area, the FCBA has 11 active regional chapters, including: Atlanta, Carolina, Florida, Midwest, New England, New York, Northern California, Southern California, Pacific Northwest, Rocky Mountain, and Texas.

“I’m looking forward to co-chairing the Florida Chapter of the FCBA along with Will Cox and Cindy Miller as we host a series of events addressing the most relevant issues in telecommunication, technology and the law,” stated Brisé regarding his role.

Brisé is an accomplished commissioner, legislative leader and senior executive with more than 20 years of experience in telecom, energy, utilities, government and business. He has established himself as a thought leader in telecom having testified before the U.S. Senate on telecom issues, served on the joint board on universal service and on the Universal Service Administrative Company. Following his tenure in the Florida Legislature, Brisé was tapped to serve on the Florida Public Service Commission where he served multiple terms including in the role of chair.
