WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (October 30, 2018) – Gunster, one of Florida’s oldest and largest full-service business law firms, is pleased to announce that Stephen C. Page has been awarded the 4th annual Professionalism Award by the Martin County Bar Association.
The award recognizes an attorney who has demonstrated or promoted outstanding professionalism in Martin County. Defined by exemplary ethical conduct, character and integrity, respect for the legal system and all of its participants, commitment to maintaining the highest levels of professional competence, courtesy and civility, and commitment to serving clients, the community and the public good. Page accepted the award during the MCBA Annual Fall Reception on Oct. 25.
He was nominated for the award by fellow Gunster attorney, Preethi Sekharan, who serves as chair of the MCBA judicial relations committee.
“Steve is an attorney who has consistently and repeatedly exhibited the highest ethical standards, character and integrity, something that all attorneys in our community should strive to achieve,” said Sekharan in her nomination. “His calm demeanor coupled with his unwavering candor to the court, clients, and colleagues have engendered trust in those with whom he has dealt.”
Steve Page focuses his practice on representing businesses and individuals in all types of complex litigation, as well as counseling them on the resolution of business disputes. Page is the immediate past chairman of the Economic Council of Martin County as well as a past president of the Martin County Bar Association. He was recently named the 2018 Intellectual Property Litigation “Lawyer of the Year” for West Palm Beach in The Best Lawyers in America® publication.
