Gunster Managing Shareholder Bill Perry recently discussed how Gunster is equipped to handle the legal issues of Florida businesses. In a video posted on the firm’s YouTube channel, Perry describes how Gunster is focused on Florida, and is deeply involved in its issues on a statewide and regional level.

Perry says Gunster is also involved in Florida’s local communities at the school board, judiciary and other levels.

“To the extent a client has a legal issue, we can assist with that,” he says in the video. “To the extent they have a political or business issue, we can help – then look forward and solve that issue, because we know Florida.”

Perry is a member of Gunster's board of directors and the firm's construction and real estate law practices. He handles complex commercial transactions, real estate development and finance, homeowner associations and condominiums, mining law and construction law.

In addition, Perry has been named South Florida Business Journal’s CEO of the Year (2009), listed to the U.S. Legal 500, the Best Lawyers in America and is AV-rated as independently determined by Martindale-Hubbell.

Apart from his legal career, Perry is also intensely involved in the local community as a former board member of the United Way of Palm Beach County, Leadership Palm Beach County, the Economic Council of Palm Beach county and the Citizens Advisory Group for Florida Department of Transportation.
