The Business Journals' BizWomen recently released their "Headliners" series which focuses on the career accomplishments and community contributions of women in business. Each day through Feb. 2, the series will feature a diverse group of women from a different industry category. The legal industry category highlighted Gunster attorney Megan Moon alongside the ranks of other women in law from all across the country.
Moon joined Gunster in 2013, after graduating second in her class from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. She is a member of the business litigation and e-discovery practice groups in the firm's Jacksonville office, where she focuses on complex commercial litigation, including contract disputes, professional liability defense, employment disputes and torts defense, as well as governmental affairs and telecommunication litigation. In addition to her professional accomplishments, Moon currently serves on the board of governors for the Young Lawyers Section of the Jacksonville Bar Association; on the advisory board for the Winston YMCA; as membership chair for the Jacksonville Bar Association; and, previously, on the board of the Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists (ACEDS) in Jacksonville. She was recently tapped for Leadership Jacksonville’s Class of 2019 and received the Jacksonville Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” honor in 2018.
