Gunster is pleased to announce that Shareholder and Retired Judge Hugh Hayes has been inducted into the Florida Chapter of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals (NADN) for 2024. This recognition is for his experience in Mediation.

Established in 2008, the NADN is an invitation-only professional association of mediators and arbitrators. They are inducted based on their experience in civil and commercial dispute resolution. With over 1000 members, NADN is the most extensive public roster of experienced ADR attorneys. The roster is available at no cost to visitors and allows them to contact ADR attorneys directly or schedule a time to connect online.


Gunster Attorney Hugh HayesHugh Hayes, the longest serving judge in Florida history, serves as a Supreme Court and Florida Middle District certified mediator, qualified arbitrator and special master to select clients. He is committed to providing a creative and balanced approach to problem-solving that meets the needs of the party constituents who retain him as a neutral.

In addition to his judicial service, Hugh has served the Naples and broader Collier County community through his engagement with the United Way of Collier County, Naples North Rotary, Florida Bar-focused committees and various legal organizations.
