The November/December 2022 issue of The Federal Lawyer magazine features an article by Gunster Shareholder and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Committee Member Jonathan Osborne. Osborne highlights the impact Hon. Beth Bloom (S.D. Fla.) has had on future generations of attorneys including her launch of the Judicial Intern Academy, which provides mentorship and leadership opportunities while inviting future lawyers to serve.
"In a profession that continues to confront how to foster a diverse and inclusive legal community, resources like the Academy illustrate the capacity of federal courts to leverage their role in society and legal communities to inspire, equip, and mentor future lawyers..." he goes on to explain.
