Gunster attorney Nick Elder authored an article on time management which was recently featured in the Jacksonville Daily Record. In the piece, Elder offers a variety of suggestions as to how lawyers can better prioritize their time in order to increase efficiency and productivity.
Elder explains the first step in taking control of one's time is to begin by designating time at the beginning of each week towards planning a schedule and prioritizing tasks. Within the article he writes, "With a comprehensive plan in place and productivity increasing, your anxiety will fade and the overall stress of life will decrease. You will notice the difference and so will those around you." Ultimately, this simple habit can make you not only a better lawyer, but also a better person as you can replicate this technique in your personal life as well.
