WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – June 10, 2019 - Gunster, one of Florida’s oldest and largest full-service business law firms, today announced that Traci Rollins has re-joined the firm as a shareholder in the business litigation practice. Rollins began her legal career at Gunster and has spent more than 30 years as a business litigator in South Florida. She will be based in the West Palm Beach office.

As a business litigator, she holds a wide range of experience in trial, arbitration and evidentiary hearings in Florida and in U.S. courts involving complex commercial and cross-border litigation, anti-foreign suit injunctions, government investigations, and consumer and commercial regulatory compliance programs.

Recognized for her impressive work in the legal field, Rollins was named one of the Most Effective Lawyers of 2017 by Daily Business Review under the bankruptcy category. She was selected for her representation of an insolvent eastern Caribbean-based insurance company with policyholders in the U.S. where she utilized Chapter 15 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code for cross-border proceedings, resulting in a $123 million judgement. In addition, Rollins was named among the list of Influential Business Women in a 2016 issue of the South Florida Business Journal.

Committed to the community, Rollins serves as the president of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation of the Greater Palm Beach County Chapter. She is also a member of Financial Women International as well as the Palm Beach County Bar Association, including the chapter’s women attorneys and commercial litigation committees. At Gunster she will play an active role in supporting initiatives that advance women in law.

Rollins earned a J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and a B.S. from the University of Michigan.
