In a recent article featured in the Tampa Bay Business Journal, Gunster shareholder Greg Rix was highlighted for his insight on the Westshore interchange project. Tampa has secured funding to begin road work to connect Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco counties, leaving surrounding businesses in eminent domain cases. Rix believes there may be 20 to 25 properties impacted by the project. This project to reconstruct Tampa's largest road problem will begin in 2023.

Rix has handled hundreds of eminent domain cases from Florida's Panhandle to the Everglades, and involving a wide range of property types as diverse as cattle ranches to downtown office buildings. Regardless of the matter at hand, he strives to leverage his valuation skills and appraisal background to assist clients through early engagement and pre-suit resolution of eminent domain matters.
