Gunster attorney Bob Lamm provided his insight in a recent Global Finance Magazine article on the skepticism WeWork is facing ahead of their IPO. Widely expected to be one the largest initial public offerings (IPOs) this year, WeWork's prospectus raises questions about their corporate governance and adds to conflict of interest concerns involving the company's founder and CEO Adam Neumann. In the article Lamm noted,"Neumann’s latest transaction suggests extreme confidence in the success of the offering, arrogance, or perhaps some of both."
Lamm chairs the firm's Securities and Corporate Governance practice and is a long-term member of the Society for Corporate Governance. He has chaired its securities law committee and served on its corporate practices, finance and national conference committees, as a member of its board of directors, and as chair of its national conference committee.
