The 33rd annual Federal Securities Institute will be held over two days in Miami, beginning Feb. 5. Hosted by the Thomson Reuters Legal Executive Institute, the conference is dedicated to providing legal industry professionals with insight into the latest securities news and trends.
Gunster attorney Robert B. Lamm is participating on a panel entitled "Disclosure, executive compensation, accounting and auditing and other regulatory developments."
The panel begins at 9 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 6, and will be moderated by John White (partner, Cravath, Swaine & Moore). Fellow panelists include: Elizabeth Murphy (associate director, Corporate Finance Division, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission); Catherine Dixon (partner, Weil, Gotshal & Manges); and Curtis Alva (principal, Law Offices of Curtis Alva).
Lamm is co-chair of Gunster’s securities and corporate governance law practice, chair of the securities law committee (2011-14) for the Society of Corporate Secretary and Governance Professionals, and a senior fellow at The Conference Board Governance Center based in New York.
