The Florida section of American Water Resources Association and the Florida Institute of consulting engineers are organizing the May 15 technical meeting to be held at the Lake Worth Drainage District, in Delray Beach, Florida to commemorate the LWDD 100-year anniversary.

The meeting will focus on various water management opportunities and challenges in South Florida including latest discussions on Lake Okeechobee and the water policy bill.

The current tentative agenda for the meeting is as follows:

9 a.m. - 12 p.m. Board meeting, all are welcome to attend

12 p.m. - 1 p.m. Lunch on your own

1 p.m. - 5 p.m. Technical meeting

5:30 p.m. Networking event, location TBD
