There are several important events coming up that relate to environmental and land use law. Most notable are the Palm Beach International Agricultural Summit and the 2016 technical meeting for the Florida section of the American Water Resource Association.
May 4: Palm Beach International Agricultural Summit
The first ever Palm Beach International Agricultural Summit will take place May 4 at the Palm Beach County Convention Center. The purpose of the event is to unite the wide range of professionals with a stake in the agriculture industry for educational programming and networking. One of the keynote speakers is Adam Putnam, Florida's Commissioner of Agriculture.

May 20: Technical meeting for the Florida section of the American Water Resource Association
On May 20th, the technical meeting for the Florida section of the American Water Resource Association (AWRA) will take place in Safety Harbor, Florida. The program is broken down into half hour sessions presented by a wide variety of experts in the water industry. Florida Senator Jack Latvala from District 20 will deliver the keynote address. In addition to the programming, the day will have networking events scattered throughout.
