Overview
Alexandra Woodfield has been in the firm's Private Wealth Services group since she joined the firm in 1989. Alex focuses her practice on estate planning and trust administration, advising individuals regarding their estate planning, including drafting wills and other related documents that take into account all aspects of a client's wealth and family situation, and assists clients in the proper administration of trusts and estates.
Alex utilizes succession planning and charitable planning techniques. She fashions personalized estate plans using one or more available tax reduction techniques, such as marital deduction and generation skipping tax planning, irrevocable life insurance trusts, and in advising clients to create lifetime trusts that take advantage of the various federal and state death tax exemptions.
Alex has experience in all phases of the administration of trusts and estates and is capable of taking responsibility for tax planning, preparation and filing, trust and estate accounting and distributions. Alex is licensed to practice law in New York and Florida.
