Overview
Aurora Charland is an associate in Gunster’s Private Wealth Services practice group. She practices in the West Palm Beach office.
Aurora received both her J.D. and LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. Throughout her legal education, she maintained a strong academic record while also placing a heavy emphasis on being active on campus and obtaining practice-relevant skills and experiences. She received a variety of honors while in law school, including book awards in three courses, the Dean’s Leadership Award, and the Excellence Award for pro bono recognition. Additionally, she was selected to serve as a graduate editor of the Florida Tax Review. While she was involved in many projects in law school, she especially enjoyed leading the Disability Law Association during her two years as president.
Prior to joining Gunster, she worked for a boutique estate planning firm as a law clerk. Additionally, she has been an active member of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law section of the Florida Bar since law school, which has served as another avenue for learning how to best serve her clients.
