Brandee Permenter

Overview

Brandee Permenter is a Business Litigation attorney in Gunster’s Fort Lauderdale office. She is committed to understanding clients' needs and advocates passionately. With drive and meticulous attention to detail, she serves clients with enthusiasm and determination.

As a former student-athlete on Nova Southeastern University’s women’s soccer team, Brandee graduated with honors with two bachelor of science degrees in legal studies and sports and recreation management. Through her experience she understands the value of adaptability, resilience, discipline, and effective communication. She applies these qualities to every case with the goal of achieving clients’ objectives and serving the community.

Brandee enjoys zealously advocating for clients. During law school, she was an award-winning national competitor for Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law’s advocacy program, where she honed her written and oral advocacy skills. She also obtained diverse hands-on work experience and served as a teaching assistant to first-year law students in legal research and writing, torts, and property courses. Continuing to contribute to the NSU Athletics Department, Brandee also worked under the NSU Athletics Department as a graduate assistant for NCAA compliance and rules education.

Brandee served the community at NSU’s Berger Entrepreneur Law Clinic, where she gained hands-on pro bono experience representing entry-level entrepreneurs, inventors, innovators, and start-ups with entity selection and formation, contract drafting, intellectual property protection, financing, and regulatory matters. Through the Berger Clinic, Brandee also had the opportunity to facilitate and participate in community outreach workshops with the Urban League of Broward County and local high schools to educate and inspire entrepreneurship and business development among the community and youth.
