Overview

David S. Kuriakose focuses his practice on the evolving field of eDiscovery. He serves as the Discovery Advisor for Gunster's eDiscovery practice group.

Prior to joining Gunster, David worked in the commercial litigation practice group at McDonald’s Corporation. During his time there, David advised the corporation on franchisee litigation and managed e-discovery teams in connection with internal investigations. Additionally, David monitored restaurant performance and ensured owner/operator compliance with the applicable franchising standards. As a result, David was able to provide the best advice and counsel to business partners to reduce legal risk, avoid litigation, and protect the brand.

During his time in law school, David was a student attorney for the Medical Legal Partnership Clinic, where he was able to help indigent individuals gain access to legal services to improve their health outcomes in an array of matters. Additionally, David was a member of the Corporate and Business Law Association and Privacy and Security Law Society. He is currently part of the Chicago Bar Association and the South Asian Bar Association.

David received his J.D. from University of Illinois College of Law and his B.A. from the University of South Florida. When he isn’t working, you can find David traveling, hiking, and exploring national parks with family and friends.
