Overview
Enrique M. López focuses his practice on the evolving field of eDiscovery and complex litigation, where he concentrates on the law related to privilege, confidentiality, and associated sanctions, and ESI agreements and protocols. With a background in business litigation at both the trial and appellate levels, he has represented a diverse array of clients, a sampling of which includes national and international corporations, developers, insurance carriers, general contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers, law firms, community associations and municipalities.
Enrique strives to provide clients with practical, business-oriented solutions in accordance with the law and in pursuit of effective and efficient resolutions. Dedicated to serving as a counselor and advocate, and driven by attention to detail and fact, Enrique remains committed to serving as a team player and catalyst for solutions.
Enrique spent over a decade practicing law prior to joining Gunster. Notably, in addition to his years in private practice, he clerked for the Honorable Angel A. Cortiñas, the Honorable Vance E. Salter, and the Honorable Thomas W. Logue at the Third District Court of Appeal. Moreover, he has lectured on the topics of contract litigation, construction insurance, and mold litigation and remediation. He combines his distinctive mix of experience with his concentrated attention to detail to provide his clients with unique, pragmatic solutions to their legal issues.
