Overview
Maria Andreina Piselli is an immigration associate based in the Miami office. Maria focuses her practice on employment-based immigration matters. She assists multinational organizations, startups, foreign athletes, and individuals with extraordinary abilities in navigating a diverse range of immigration processes, including Permanent Labor Certification, TN Professional Workers, L1-A Intracompany Transferees, and P-1 Athlete visas.
Maria also has experience in family-based immigration matters, including marriage-based petitions and naturalization cases. Passionate about delivering personalized solutions, Maria is dedicated to helping her clients achieve their immigration objectives.
Prior to joining Gunster, Maria worked as an associate at a boutique immigration firm, where she represented clients in employment, investment, and family-based immigration matters. Maria graduated from the University of Miami School of Law with an area of focus on Immigration, Asylum, and Citizenship. As a Dean’s Merit Scholar, Maria participated in the University of Miami Law International Moot Court, competing in MootMadrid, an international arbitration competition conducted entirely in Spanish. Maria was a student-intern in the Immigration Clinic, focusing primarily on asylum cases. She served as President of the Immigration Student Association and as a research assistant for Professor Rebecca Sharpless.
Maria is fluent in Spanish.
