Overview
Valerie Litschgi is of counsel in the firm’s Real Estate Law practice. Board Certified in Real Estate Law for over 20 years, Valerie’s practice focuses on all types of commercial and residential transactions including real property acquisition and development, leasing, finance and title insurance matters.
Valerie has worked extensively in the area of commercial leasing, including representing both landlords and tenants. She previously represented a large grocery store tenant as well as landlords of office buildings and shopping centers. Valerie also represents real estate developers and owners of senior housing facilities and other commercial developments. Additionally, Valerie is a title agent for several national title underwriters and has issued hundreds of millions of dollars in title insurance policies.
Valerie is active in several local charitable and social organizations. She is involved in the community through the Junior League of Tampa and is a member of the Executive Board of LAMPLighters Tampa supporting Metropolitan Ministries and Joshua House. In addition, she is a member of Hyde Park Methodist Church and Palma Ceia Golf and Country Club.
During law school at the University of Florida, Valerie served as Vice President of Florida Blue Key. She was very involved in various campus organizations while an undergraduate and law school student at University of Florida, and acted as Chairman of Greek Week, a campus-wide event that raised funds for charity.
Valerie enjoys spending time with her husband, three children and her two golden retrievers. She is an avid Florida Gators fan and enjoys biking and traveling.
