WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (Feb. 4, 2015) – Gunster, one of Florida’s oldest and largest full-service business law firms, is pleased to announce Robert Jacobowitz has joined the firm as a shareholder in the West Palm Beach office.
Jacobowitz, an attorney in Gunster’s private wealth services practice, has extensive experience counseling clients on complex estate planning matters and gift and generation transfer tax techniques.
Jacobowitz graduated with high honors from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 1996. He is involved extensively in the professional community as a member of The Florida Bar’s real property, probate and trust law section, the Estate Planning Council of Broward County and the Greater Fort Lauderdale Tax Council.
Jacobowitz has experience representing individuals and corporate fiduciaries with probate and related testamentary issues.
Additionally, 11 other attorneys from the practice earned a “Best Lawyer” listing. Elaine Bucher of Gunter’s private wealth services practice group was recently named as “Lawyer of the Year” for 2015 in the category of trusts and estates for the West Palm Beach area.
The addition of Jacobowitz comes at the tail of the recent additions of seven new attorneys including associates Kyle Knopsnyder, Stacie Townsend, Beatriz Osorio and Kyle Teal, attorney Cecile Piverotto and shareholders Michael Freed and Steven Boyne.
