Bernard R. “Robin” Baker, III, an attorney of counsel to Gunster, Florida’s Law Firm for Business, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the National Club Association (NCA).  He focuses his practice on private golf clubs, hospitality projects, including hotels, resorts, club membership programs; mixed-use properties, and highly-amenitized master-planned communities, club membership plans and real estate development and finance. Baker is also the president and director of Premier Title Company, Gunster’s affiliated title insurance agency. 

In addition to his law practice, Baker is a member of the Palm Beach Board of Realtors Education Committee. He served as the vice president of the World Affairs Council of the Florida Palm Beaches, and is a former member of the Palm Beach Civic Association Transportation Committee.  Baker also serves as a reading instructor at De Porres PLACE Adult Learning Center in Riviera Beach.

The NCA, a Washington, D.C.-based trade association, is the premier organization in the private club industry, serving 405 signature clubs with an excess of 350,000 members since 1961.  The NCA represents its members’ educational, business, legal and legislative interests. In addition to government relations activities, NCA also provides legal, legislative and regulatory information, as well as a wealth of resources to address the educational needs of clubs related to operations, model club practices, trends and effective leadership.
