WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (May 16, 2018) – Gunster, one of Florida’s oldest and largest full-service business law firms, today announced that William P. Dillon has joined the firm as a shareholder of the expanding health care law practice. He will be based in the Tallahassee office.
Dillon will focus his practice on assisting health care providers and entities adhering to the complex regulatory requirements in the health care sector. Additionally, he will devote a significant amount of time focusing on data privacy and security issues in both the health care and non-health care sectors.

Before joining Gunster, Dillon practiced health care law in Tallahassee where he represented Federally Qualified Health Centers in providing services to Florida's medically underserved populations. In his 20 years of experience, he has assisted these entities in complying with federal and state grant requirements and other programs such as the 340B Drug Discount Program. Additionally, he has represented health care providers and entities in structuring compliant business relationships as well as providing business operations advice.
Dillon is Board Certified by the Florida Bar as a specialist in the area of Health Care Law. He is also certified by the Health Care Compliance Association in the area of corporate compliance (CHC) and the International Association of Privacy Professionals as an Information Privacy Professional for the US Section (CIPP/US). Dillon is active in his community, including involvement with Gulfwinds Triathletes and the Tallahassee Sports Council, a division of the Leon County Division of Tourism.
He holds a J.D. from St. Thomas University School of Law and his B.S. from Florida International University.
