WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (November 15, 2019) – Gunster, one of Florida’s oldest and largest full-service business law firms, is pleased to announce shareholder Ken Bell was appointed by Chief Justice Charles Canady of the Florida Supreme Court to serve on the Workgroup on Improved Resolution of Civil Cases. The purpose of the Workgroup is to identify efficiencies in courtroom procedure to expedite the resolution of civil proceedings.
“What an honor it is to work with such a great team to improve the fair and timely resolution of civil cases,” says Bell.
The Workgroup on Improved Resolution of Civil Cases is part of the Judicial Management Council which serves as a focused advisory body that assists the chief justice and the Court. The Workgroup will be chaired by Second District Court of Appeal Judge Robert Morris and guided by the goals of The Long-Range Strategic Plan for the Florida Judicial Brand 2016-21.
