WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (Sept. 19, 2007) — Nicholas Robbins, a corporate attorney at Gunster, Yoakley & Stewart, P.A. in West Palm Beach, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Angel Investment Forum of Florida (AIFFL). Robbins also serves on the advisory board of the Treasure Coast chapter of AIFFL.
A not-for-profit organization that recently added a second chapter in Central Florida, AIFFL serves as a conduit to introduce individual “angel” investors to local entrepreneurs in an effort to help promote business growth in Florida. This type of investor generally invests in emerging and expanding companies, typically with financial support ranging from $50,000 to $2 million.

He has spoken to various groups about the angel and venture capital marketplace, as well as hedging and monetization strategies.
